THEY HUNGER is an independent horror film that was shot in Southeast Texas by award-winning film students from Lamar University. Made in the wake of a hurricane, this feature-length project involved hundreds of volunteer extras and dozens of unpaid performers, artists and filmmakers.

In the not too distant future, the dead have inherited the Earth. Now a desperate band of survivors on the run from a gang of maniacs struggle to stay alive in a city ruled by the living dead. But when supplies run out, they quickly discover that their one sanctuary has become a prison... and that it's every man for himself.
